Mike Larson packed the house at the LA PUG

I'm very excited about how the turnout and the energy of the LA PUG last night. I want to first thank Mike Larson for coming out and giving us a fantastic talk about building client relationships and how to turn your photography business into a fine tuned machine. As many of you know last night was my debut as the new leader of the Los Angeles PUG. I couldn't have asked for a better start! I want to thank all of you who made the drive down to Beverly Hills for the PUG. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.

For every challenging situation, there are many opportunities hidden beneath. This workshop will help you find just that.

There will also be an opportunity to submit your work for review. Constructive feedback is a key element for improvement. Roberto is a 50 time International award winning photographer, 3-time 1st place winner, and an International print competition judge.

Find out more about international multi award winning wedding photographer and educator Roberto Valenzuela at http://robertovalenzuelaphotography.com/.

Materials needed:
Please bring 3 unedited photographs and 3 edited (finished) photographs on a USB thumb drive. Because of time constraints, Roberto will randomly select as many student portfolios as we have time for.
Bring cameras for live shoot
Laptops & card readers for downloading and editing.

What photographs to bring:
To get the most out of your critique session, 4 out of your 6 images should be photographs that you feel you would like to receive help on. The last 2 should be photographs that you are very proud of. The best way to take steps forward in your work, is to pinpoint weaknesses, learn from them and practice breaking them down into individual photographic elements you can handle.

Hope you can join us!

Masquerade Party at the Petit Ermitage Hotel

The Los Angeles Bridal Bar put together this amazing masquerade party last night at the Petit Ermitage Hotel. If you haven't been to this hotel, it's worth the trip. It's so interesting and chic. The party had a water acrobatics team perform a beautiful show. The party was for the wedding industry and it was so great to meet more amazing and talented people.

Danny and Marcy..

Wow, you wedding was definitely one I will never ever forget.  It was so unique and magical.  I loved how it was on the day of the dead in Oaxaca, Mexico.  It gave the five days we were there a very unique flavor and truly an unforgettable experience.  Your families are so beautiful and full of life.  Gisele was amazing and a total sweetheart.  I really liked her and I already miss her.  Anyway, here a just a few pictures I wanted to showcase before we get started on your big project.  I hope you enjoy it!

Deepa and Evan, it was so much fun shooting your beautiful and ultra colorful wedding.  It was truly a colors galore event as well as a cultural experience.  I enjoyed photographing both of your ceremonies.  It was so nice to see the contrast one after the other.  Thank you for choosing me as your photographer and I hope you enjoy this short sample of your wedding images.
